Graffiti Sky is an acrylic and charcoal painting, that captures the tension between the urban environment and the boundless expanse of the sky. While graffiti on concrete walls infuses the space with new life and meaning, when it is painted on the sky, it essentially encloses their infinite and eternal nature, giving them clearer boundaries and lines, and forcing a contraction of the infinite.

The graffiti collapses the obvious everyday background of the sky's boundaries, which constitute the city's predetermined limit, and forces it to shrink within boundaries that are not its own. In this way, it asserts control over the celestial space.
